It works like a pop rivet or rivet gun, perfect when the surface is too thin to be tapped or rear access is impossible. A rivet nut can be applied to an existing hole if it matches the size, or a new hole can be drilled to suit your desired rivet nut and bolt. Once you determine the size, equip the tool with the appropriate mandrel.
This heavy-duty kit sets threaded rivet nuts from M3 to M10, complete with interchangeable mandrels and an assortment of rivet nuts to cover every size. At 250mm overall with a 7mm working stroke, the tool delivers controlled two-handed operation for safe, secure installation.
