12V Accessory Installation is an in-store service where our team helps you choose the right driving lights, light bars, UHF radios, dash cams, head units, speakers, reverse cameras or towing mirrors for your vehicle, then arranges professional installation.

Which stores offer 12V Accessory Installation?

12V Accessory Installation is currently available at seven participating Sunshine Coast stores: Maroochydore, Nambour, Kawana Waters, Aura, Currimundi, North Caboolture and Morayfield. It is not yet available at other Supercheap Auto stores.

Do I need to book an appointment?

You don't need a booking for the initial consultation — simply visit a participating store and speak to our team about what you're looking to achieve. Once your accessories and installation are confirmed, your installation partner will arrange a suitable time to fit them.

What do I need to do to prepare for my appointment?

Please make sure your vehicle is available and accessible at the agreed appointment time, and that it's safe and in a roadworthy condition. You should also remove any personal belongings that may interfere with the installation, and remove any child restraints where access is required for the work.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my appointment?

Please give at least 48 hours' notice for any cancellation or booking change. Cancellation or call-out fees may apply where the installation partner has already incurred reasonable costs.

Who actually installs my 12V accessories?

Our in-store team helps you choose the right products and handles your initial enquiry. Specialist technical advice, compatibility checks, quoting and the installation itself are carried out by our approved installation partner, SKT Solutions, an independent third-party installer — not by Supercheap Auto staff directly.

How much does 12V accessory installation cost?

Pricing depends on the accessory being installed, starting from $249 for a light bar and ranging up to $599 for towing mirrors with factory mirror cameras. See the pricing table above for a full guide. Your exact price is confirmed in a quote once your vehicle and accessory have been assessed, and additional charges may apply if unforeseen issues, modifications, faults, or extra labour are identified during that assessment.

What types of 12V accessories can be installed?

We can help with driving lights, light bars, UHF radios, dash cams (front only or front & rear), head units and multimedia displays, speakers, reverse cameras, and towing mirrors, including towing mirrors with factory mirror cameras.

How long does installation take?

Installation time varies depending on the accessory and your vehicle. Your installation partner will confirm expected timing as part of your quote.

Is my installation covered by warranty?

Yes. Products supplied by Supercheap Auto are covered by applicable manufacturer warranties and your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Installation workmanship is covered separately by SKT Solutions' own workmanship warranty. Nothing in our terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law — ask in store for full details before you proceed.

Supercheap Auto offers access to trusted 12V accessory installation services through an approved installation partner, SKT Solutions. By booking a fitment service, you agree to the following:

Independent Installation Service

Installation services are performed by an independent third-party installer. Supercheap Auto facilitates the referral and booking process but is not responsible for carrying out the installation.

Vehicle Assessment

Installation pricing is based on the information provided at the time of booking and assumes the vehicle is in suitable condition for installation. Additional charges may apply if unforeseen issues, modifications, faults, or additional labour requirements are identified.

Customer Responsibilities

Customers must ensure:

The vehicle is available and accessible at the agreed appointment time.
The vehicle is safe and in a roadworthy condition.
Any personal belongings that may interfere with the installation are removed.
Any child restraints are removed prior to installation, where access is required.

Product Compatibility

Installation is subject to vehicle and product compatibility. In some cases, additional components or labour may be required to complete the installation safely and effectively.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Please provide at least 48 hours' notice for any cancellation or booking change. Cancellation or call-out fees may apply where reasonable costs have been incurred by the installation partner.

Warranty and Consumer Rights

Products supplied by Supercheap Auto are covered by applicable manufacturer warranties and rights under Australian Consumer Law. Installation workmanship is covered by the installation partner's workmanship warranty.
