Manufactured in Toyota’s Melbourne site the Toyota Corolla AE92 was a complete remodel from the previous AE80 series. Toyota released the AE92 with three new body shapes, and a replaced drivetrain, all with focuses on safety, comfort, and quality. The chassis types they chose for the AE92 include; 4 door Sedan ; 5 door Hatchback ; and the “Seca” Liftback. Sub-models included; SE ; CS ; CS-X ; SX, whilst in 1990 a Spirit model was added.
