The Tridon Wiper Rubber Refills MRJ2028-2 are a cost-effective way to restore clear vision without replacing the entire wiper blade assembly. This combo pair includes one 500mm (20") refill suited to 0.8mm rails and one 700mm (28") refill suited to 1.2mm rails, matching the typical driver-side and passenger-side combination found on Japanese-style vehicles fitted with OE plastic spoiler blades or the Tridon CurveBlade™.
The rubber refills are made from single-piece extruded UV-resistant rubber with an 8.5mm wide backing that relies on the vehicle's existing factory stainless steel curved metal rails to deliver even wiper pressure across the windscreen. To fit, simply remove the old refill, transfer the curved metal rails into the new Tridon rubber, trim the refill at least 10mm past the end of the rails if required, and reinstall, ensuring every blade claw is engaged and the moulded retention slot seats correctly towards the wiper motor. Do not cut the 700mm (28") refill below 525mm when fitting 0.8mm rails.
