The Ryco N99 MicroShield Cabin Air Filter RCA107M purifies in-vehicle air, protecting passengers from airborne bacteria, viruses, odours and chemicals. Using N99 medical-grade media, it achieves 99.7% efficiency capturing airborne particles as small as 0.3 micron, smaller than a human hair at around 90 microns, and is tested to ISO11155-2:2009 standards.
The MicroShield media comprises three distinct layers for comprehensive defence: a pre-filter with anti-viral properties, an activated carbon layer for odour elimination, and an electrostatically charged layer for optimal particle filtration. Anti-bacterial and anti-viral agents embedded within the media eliminate pathogens and stop them growing once trapped, while the carbon layer blocks exhaust gases, soot and smog and captures pollen and allergens that can aggravate hay fever and asthma.
Ryco RCA107M fits in easily accessible locations such as under the bonnet, below the centre console, or behind the glove box, and is recommended for replacement every 15,000 kilometres or once a year to maintain optimal performance.
