The Ryco N99 MicroShield Cabin Air Filter RCA140M is an in-vehicle air purification system designed to protect passengers from airborne biological contaminants, odours and harmful gases. The filter uses N99 medical-grade media tested to ISO 11155-2:2009, achieving 99.7% efficiency at filtering particles as small as 0.3 micron, smaller than a human hair.
A three-layer construction combines a pre-filter with anti-viral properties, an activated carbon layer for odour elimination, and an electrostatically charged layer for particle capture. Anti-bacterial and anti-viral agents embedded in the media eliminate trapped viruses and bacteria, preventing regrowth. The filter effectively captures pollen, dust, soot and smog while neutralising exhaust gases and noxious odours. Direct-fit design makes replacement straightforward; Ryco recommends changing the filter every 15,000 kilometres or annually for optimal performance.
