The Ryco N99 MicroShield Cabin Air Filter, RCA107M is engineered to purify in-vehicle air and safeguard passengers against biological contaminants, odours and airborne chemicals. Using N99 medical-grade media, the filter achieves a remarkable 99.7% efficiency at capturing airborne bacteria and viruses as small as 0.3 micron (smaller than a human hair at 90 microns) and is rigorously tested to ISO11155-2:2009 standards.
The MicroShield media comprises three distinct layers for comprehensive defence: a pre-filter with anti-viral properties, an activated carbon layer for odour elimination, and an electrostatically charged layer for optimal particle filtration. Anti-bacterial and anti-viral agents are embedded within the media to eliminate harmful pathogens from the airflow and prevent their growth once trapped.
