HDZ-50 lowers oil consumption and increases wear protection in engines under heavy load, while superior sludge and soot control keeps internals cleaner. Its seal conditioner helps rejuvenate seals and gaskets to slow or stop oil leaks, and the formulation improves oil pressure at idle and under load. It suits turbocharged engines and those fitted with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems, and suits heavy towing or operation in high ambient temperatures.
HDZ-50 suits stationary engines, heavy duty diesel engines used in earth moving and road transport, and high mileage trucks, 4WDs and utes. Where API SL or earlier performance levels are specified, HDZ-50 can also be used in petrol engine applications. It is not suitable for vehicles fitted with diesel particulate filters (DPFs).
