The Basco Starter Motor to Suit Toyota Hilux VZN167 VZN172 & Prado VZJ90 VZJ95 3.4L BSM1045 suits vehicles fitted with the 3.4L 5VZ-FE engine. It replaces a worn starter motor that causes slow cranking or a single clicking sound when starting. Basco manufactures this starter motor to ISO/TS16949 international standards for consistent cold start performance.
This 12V starter motor delivers 1.4kW of rated power through a 9-tooth pinion with clockwise rotation. It measures 189mm overall with a 55mm flange diameter and 105mm mounting bolt centres, matching the original Toyota fitment. The starter motor is backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty, whichever occurs first.
