The Basco Starter Motor to Suit Subaru Impreza Forester Outback Liberty/Legacy BSM1033 is a 12V, 1.2kW replacement for manual transmission Subaru EJ and EZ series engines. It resolves no-crank or intermittent clicking symptoms caused by a worn starter, fitting Subaru Impreza GC-GG, Forester SF-SJ, Outback BG-BR and Liberty/Legacy BC-BR models built from 1989 to 2018.
The starter motor features an 8-tooth pinion with a 49mm pinion at rest distance and counter-clockwise rotation, matching the mounting bolt centres and flange diameter of the original unit for a direct fit. Backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty, each unit is 100% brand new and performance tested before dispatch.
