The Basco Starter Motor to Suit Hyundai Tucson Elantra Accent & Kia Cerato Sportage BSM1073 is a replacement starter fixing no-crank or clicking faults. It suits automatic transmission models fitted with the 1.6L to 2.0L G4ED, G4GC, G4GF and G4GM engines, including the Hyundai Tucson JM, Elantra XD, Accent LC/LS/MC, Lantra J2/J3, Lavita XD and Tiburon GK, plus the Kia Cerato LD and Sportage KM.
The starter motor runs on a 12 volt system and produces 1.2kW of cranking power through an 8 tooth pinion that rotates clockwise. It has a 207mm overall length, 77mm flange diameter and 105mm mounting bolt centres for a direct fitment. Backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty, whichever occurs first.
