The Basco Starter Motor to Suit Ford Falcon BF FG FG X Territory SX SY SZ 4.0L BSM1008 replaces a failing starter that causes no-crank or clicking symptoms. It suits the Ford Falcon BF (10/2005–07/2011) and FG/FG X (05/2008–10/2016), and the Ford Territory SX, SY and SZ (05/2004–10/2016), all fitted with the 4.0L Barra engine. The 1.4kW 12V motor turns a 13-tooth pinion gear with clockwise rotation, matching the original equipment design for a direct fit replacement.
Built with a balanced armature and heavy-duty solenoid, this starter motor delivers strong cranking torque with improved dust and water resistance. It is backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty.
