The Basco Starter Motor to Suit Holden Commodore VE/VF & HSV V8 BSM1020 replaces a faulty starter causing no-crank or clicking symptoms. It suits Commodore, Calais, Caprice, Crewman and Statesman VE to VZ generations and HSV Clubsport, Maloo, Senator, Grange, GTS, SV6000, W427 and Coupe models fitted with 6.0L, 6.2L and 7.0L LS-series V8 engines. Fitted with a spade terminal connector, the unit delivers 1.2kW of power at 12V through a clockwise rotating, 10-tooth pinion that re-engages the flywheel on start-up.
Basco manufactures this starter motor to ISO/TS16949 standards for precision fitment and dependable performance. The starter is backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty, whichever occurs first, and includes one new starter motor for direct OE installation.
