The BASCO Engine Timing Belt Kit ETK1244, also known as a cam belt kit, suits Ford, Kuga and Volvo models fitted with 1.5 and 1.6 litre DOHC engines. It suits the Ford Escape ZG, Fiesta WZ, Focus LZ and Kuga TF, and the Volvo S60, V40 and V60, built between 2011 and 2020. The kit includes a Gates timing belt, timing tensioner bearing, two cam seals and a front crank seal, with components sourced from leading OEM brands including GMB, Koyo, NTN, INA and NSK. This kit does not include timing belt bolts, which are supplied separately in kit ETK1260.
The BASCO Engine Timing Belt Kit ETK1244 pairs well with a water pump, hydraulic tensioner or drive belt replacement carried out at the same time, since labour makes up a large part of the job's cost and doing so helps reduce the risk of further engine damage. This kit is backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty.
