The Basco Engine Timing Belt Kit to Suit Volkswagen Transporter T4 2.4L AAB AJA ETK1241 is designed for VW Transporter T4 models fitted with the 2.4L AAB or AJA engine. The kit includes a timing tensioner bearing, a timing idler bearing, a Gates timing belt, a Gates injector pump belt and three oil seals covering the cam and crank seals. Components are sourced from established OEM brands such as GMB, Gates, Koyo, NTN, INA and NSK and are manufactured to industry specifications.
This Engine Timing Belt Kit suits Volkswagen Transporter T4 2.4L AAB FWD models built from September 1994 to April 1999, including SWB and LWB variants, AAB 4WD Syncro models built from May 1995 to April 1999, and 2.4L AJA FWD models built from August 1997 to January 2000. A hydraulic tensioner and water pump are not included in this kit and can be fitted separately. The kit is backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty.
