The Basco Engine Timing Belt Kit ETK1218 is designed to suit Mitsubishi Cordia, Express, Nimbus and Starwagon models fitted with 4G32 or 4G63 SOHC engines. The kit includes a Gates timing belt, a Gates balance shaft belt, two timing tensioner bearings and cam, crank, balance shaft and oil pump seals, giving a complete engine timing kit replacement in one package. Components are sourced from leading global OEM brands such as GMB, Gates, Koyo, NTN, INA and NSK, manufactured to industry standards and kitted by Basco's specialist Australian team.
Because the labour involved in a timing belt replacement is a large part of the overall job cost, many workshops replace other wear items such as the water pump at the same time, though a water pump is sold separately as an optional extra with this kit.
