The Basco Timing Belt Kit with Hydraulic Tensioner to Suit Holden Rodeo 3.2L 6VD1 3.5L 6VE1 ETK1042HT1 is designed for Holden Rodeo TF and RA V6 engines. It suits the 3.2L V6 6VD1 engine fitted to the TF Rodeo from 1998 to 2003 and the 3.5L V6 6VE1 DOHC engine fitted to the RA Rodeo from 2003 to 2005. The kit includes a Gates timing belt, timing tensioner bearing, timing idler bearing, hydraulic tensioner, crank oil seal and two cam oil seals, giving a complete engine timing replacement in one box. Components are sourced from leading OEM brands including GMB, Gates, Koyo, NTN, INA and NSK, manufactured to industry leading standards and specifications.
This kit only suits vehicles fitted with a 91mm body hydraulic tensioner, as some Rodeo variants use a 74mm body instead. Replacing the timing belt kit alongside the water pump at the same time helps maintain a healthy engine and reduces the risk of future engine damage.
