The Basco Timing Belt Kit with Water Pump to suit Toyota Hilux Prado 5VZ-FE ETK1054HTWDBE replaces the engine's timing belt, tensioner and water pump on 5VZ-FE 3.4L V6 models. It suits the Toyota Hilux VZN167R, VZN172R and VZN185R and the Landcruiser Prado VZJ95R fitted with the 5VZ-FE engine. The Gates timing belt measures 36mm wide with 191 teeth, matched to a hydraulic tensioner, tensioner bearing and idler for correct valve timing.
Also included are three oil seals for the camshaft and crankshaft, and Gates Micro V drive belts for the alternator, air conditioning and power steering systems. Replacing the water pump alongside the timing belt at the same service reduces the risk of a secondary engine failure from a worn pump. The kit carries a 2 year or 40,000km warranty.
