The kit includes a Gates timing belt, tensioner bearing, two cam oil seals and a crank oil seal to restore timing accuracy and engine sealing. Replacing the timing belt, also known as a cambelt, is a labour intensive job, so it is common practice to replace the water pump and other wear items at the same time to reduce the risk of future engine damage.
