The kit includes a tensioner bearing, idler bearing, two high temperature camshaft oil seals, a front crankshaft oil seal and a water pump oil seal, with components sourced from leading OEM brands such as GMB, Gates, Koyo, NTN, INA and NSK. Each Gates belt is manufactured using proprietary compounds for resistance to heat, wear and cracking, and precision engineered for exact OEM fitment.
Replacing the timing belt is a labour-intensive job, so reputable technicians often replace the water pump and hydraulic tensioner at the same time to reduce the risk of future engine damage. This Basco kit is backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty.
