This kit for hydraulic tensioner–equipped 1HZ 4.2L diesel models includes a Gates timing belt, timing tensioner bearing, crank oil seal, cam oil seal, and fuel injection pump seal, sourced from OEM brands: GMB, Gates, Koyo, NTN, INA, and NSK.
Gates belts bring over a century of engineering experience, using proprietary compounds that resist heat, wear and cracking for a long service life. Components are precision engineered to exact OEM fitment for smooth, quiet operation, and the kit is backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty. Water pumps and hydraulic tensioners are available separately as optional extras, commonly replaced alongside timing belt components to help reduce the risk of engine damage.
