The kit includes a timing tensioner bearing, timing idler bearing, Gates timing belt and three oil seals for the cam and crank, with components sourced from leading OEM brands such as GMB, Gates, Koyo, NTN, INA and NSK.
Gates belts are manufactured with proprietary compounds that resist heat, wear and cracking, while precision engineering delivers exact OEM fitment for smooth, quiet operation. Replacing the water pump and hydraulic tensioner at the same time as a cam belt is common workshop practice, as labour makes up a large part of the total replacement cost.
