The Basco Engine Timing Belt Kit to suit Suzuki Alto G10B 1.0L ETK1098 replaces the timing belt, tensioner bearing and oil seals on the Suzuki Alto SH410 G10B engine. Fitted to the Suzuki Alto SH410 G10B 1.0 litre SOHC engine built from 3/1996 to 4/1999, it also suits the Suzuki Sierra SJ413 G13BA 1.3 litre SOHC (8/1989 to 5/1999) and Suzuki Swift SF413 G13BA 1.3 litre SOHC (1/1996 to 5/2000), noting different belts are used across this range. The kit includes a Gates timing belt, tensioner bearing, cam oil seal and crank oil seal, sourced from leading OEM brands including Gates, GMB, Koyo, NTN, INA and NSK.
Timing belt labour is a major part of replacement cost, so renewing the tensioner bearing and oil seals alongside the belt reduces the risk of a repeat teardown.
