The Basco Engine Timing Belt Kit Includes Hydraulic Tensioner ETK1027HT suits Mitsubishi's 2.5L turbo diesel engines. It fits the Mitsubishi Challenger PB PC 4D56T 2.5L DOHC turbo diesel built from December 2009 to December 2015, and the Mitsubishi Triton ML MN 4D56T 2.5L DOHC turbo diesel built from July 2008 to April 2015. The kit includes a Gates timing belt, a Gates balance shaft belt, 2 timing tensioner bearings, 2 timing idler bearings, 4 cam and crank oil seals and a hydraulic tensioner for a complete repair in one box.
Timing belt kit components use Gates' proprietary belt compounds for resistance to heat, wear and cracking, with bearings engineered to exact OEM fitment for smooth, quiet operation. Replacing the water pump at the same time as the timing belt is common practice, since both jobs share the same labour to access the engine's front cover. This kit is backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty.
