The Basco Engine Timing Belt Kit Includes Water Pump ETK1055W is a complete engine timing belt replacement kit for 4A-F and 4A-FE 1.6 litre DOHC engines. It suits the Toyota Corolla AE92, AE94 and AE95 as well as the Holden Nova LE and LF built with the 4A-FC and 4A-FE DOHC engines, and includes a Gates timing belt, tensioner bearing, crank seal, two cam seals and a water pump in the one box. The belt fitted to this kit is a 94 tooth x 19mm unit for the earlier 4A-FE engine, as later 4A-FE models use a 117 tooth x 21mm belt instead.
Timing belt replacement is a labour-intensive job, so this kit bundles the water pump and seals alongside the Gates belt to cover the related wear items in one service. Gates' proprietary belt compounds are formulated to resist heat, wear and cracking, while OEM oil seals and precision engineered bearings keep the engine running smoothly and quietly at high revolutions. The kit is put together by Basco's specialist Australian team and is backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty.
