The Basco Constant Velocity Axle CVA1479 is a direct OEM-spec replacement driveshaft for right hand drive applications. It suits Mitsubishi Colt RG RZ 1.5L (10/2004 to 01/2013) and Smart ForFour W454 1.5L (10/2004 to 01/2007) vehicles, fitted to the right hand side. Manufactured from heat-treated chrome steel with a tripod inboard joint and ball outboard joint, it carries a 33-tooth inner spline and 25-tooth outer spline to match factory specifications. Neoprene dust boots and stainless steel clamps keep dirt and moisture out, while moly grease packed inside keeps the joints operating smoothly at varying angles and speeds.
This CV axle drive shaft, also known as a half shaft, is supplied as a direct bolt-in replacement with 1 x CV shaft included, backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty, whichever occurs first.
