The Basco Constant Velocity Axle CVA1664 is manufactured to OEM specifications for the front left position on these AWD automatic models. It is built from heat-treated chrome steel for strength and long service life, with a tripod inboard joint and a ball-type outboard joint giving a compressed length of 570.5mm, 37 splines on the wheel side and 27 splines on the diff side.
High-quality neoprene dust boots and stainless-steel clamps keep dirt and moisture out, while moly grease packed inside the joints reduces friction for smooth operation at varying angles, speeds and high revolutions. This CV drive shaft, also known as a constant velocity axle, is designed and tested to OEM standards and is backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty.
