The Basco Constant Velocity Axle CVA1161 is a front CV axle built to OEM specifications for Honda owners. It fits as the right hand side front shaft on the Accord and Prelude, and the left hand side front shaft on the Integra Type R, covering Accord models from 1993 to 1998, Integra DC5 from 2001 to 2006, and Prelude models from 1986 to 2002 across 1.8, 2.0, 2.2 and 2.3 litre engines. The shaft is manufactured from heat treated chrome steel for strength and long service life, with a compressed length of 620.3mm, 28 splines on the outer wheel side, 27 splines on the inner differential side, a 50 tooth ABS ring and an M24 x 1.5 hub nut fitment.
High quality neoprene dust boots and stainless steel clamps on this CV joint drive shaft keep out dirt and moisture for reliable long term performance, and the joint is packed with moly grease to reduce friction and allow smooth operation at varying angles, speeds and high revolutions. Each unit is designed and tested to OEM standards for durability and correct fitment, and is backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty, whichever occurs first.
