The Basco Constant Velocity Axle CVA1149 is a direct replacement drive shaft for Audi A3 models built from 2004 to 2009. It fits the front right position on Audi A3 1.8L (06/2007 to 10/2008), 2.0L (02/2005 to 01/2009) and 3.2L (08/2004 to 09/2005) variants with manual or DCT transmissions. The shaft measures 786mm compressed and carries a 36 spline count on the outer wheel side joint.
Manufactured to OEM specifications using heat-treated chrome steel, this CV axle is built for strength and long service life. High-quality neoprene dust boots and stainless-steel clamps keep out dirt and moisture, while a moly grease fill reduces friction for smooth operation at varying angles, speeds and high revolutions.
