The Basco constant velocity axle, CVA1255 replaces the left-hand constant velocity axle on BMW 3 Series and Z4 models. It suits the 120D E87 (2006–2010), 320D E90 (2004–2012), 323i E36 (1995–1998) and E46 (1998–2000), 325i E46 (2000–2005), 328i E46 (1998–2000) and Z4 E85 (2002–2009), each fitted with the original equipment left-hand drive shaft.
Basco CV joint drive shafts are manufactured to OEM specifications from heat-treated chrome steel for long service life, with neoprene dust boots and stainless steel clamps sealing out dirt and moisture. The joint is packed with moly grease for smooth operation at varying angles, speeds and high revolutions, features 27 splines on the outer wheel side and a 6-bolt inboard joint, and is backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty, whichever occurs first.
