The Basco Constant Velocity Axle CVA1122 is a left hand side CV axle drive shaft built to OEM specifications for DCT FWD applications. It suits the Volkswagen Golf MK5, MK6 and MK7, Jetta, Passat, Caddy and Eos, and the Audi A3 8P across the DCT-equipped models produced between 2003 and 2018. Heat-treated chrome steel construction, high-quality Neoprene dust boots and stainless steel clamps protect against contamination while moly grease keeps the joint running smoothly at varying angles, speeds and high revolutions.
The CV axle features a 6-bolt bolt-on inner joint with a 99.5mm mounting bolt centre to centre, a 36 spline outer joint and a compressed length of 473mm. It is designed and tested to OEM standards and is backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty, whichever occurs first.
