The Basco Constant Velocity Axle CVA1530 is a right hand side constant velocity axle for manual and automatic Mazda 2 and Mazda Demio models. It is manufactured to OEM specifications using heat-treated chrome steel for strength and long service life, with neoprene dust boots and stainless steel clamps that keep out dirt and moisture. The shaft is packed with moly grease for smooth operation at varying angles, speeds and high revolutions, and features a tripod inboard joint with a ball outboard joint.
This CV axle, also known as a drive shaft, suits the Mazda 2 DY5W 1.5L and Mazda Demio DY3W 2002 to 2007, with a compressed length of 520mm, 25 teeth on the outer spline and 26 plus 2 blank on the inner spline. It is backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty, whichever occurs first.
