The Basco Constant Velocity Axle, CVA1603 replaces the left hand drive shaft on manual Holden Astra BK models. It suits the 1.4L B14XFT and 1.6L B16SHT turbo intercooled FWD variants built from November 2016 to June 2020, including R, R+, RS and RS-V sub-models.
Basco manufactures this constant velocity axle to OEM specifications using heat-treated chrome steel, with neoprene dust boots and stainless steel clamps sealing out dirt and moisture. The shaft is packed with moly grease for smooth operation at varying angles and high revolutions, and carries 33 splines on the outer wheel side and 25 splines on the inner diff side. It measures 621mm compressed and is backed by a 2 year or 40,000km warranty, whichever occurs first.
