Rated at 12V and 100 amps, it is built new with 100% brand new components, including a balanced armature and heavy-duty solenoid, rather than reconditioned parts, so starting and charging faults caused by a worn or failing alternator are resolved with original equipment level performance. The unit is manufactured to ISO/TS16949 quality standards and is fitted with a 7PV pulley of 70mm diameter for correct belt engagement, plus improved dust and water resistance for demanding underbonnet conditions.
