The Basco Alternator 150A To Suit MG MG3 MG5 1.5L 2018-Onwards BAL1748 is a brand new 12V 150A alternator engineered to restore charging on MG MG3 and MG5 models. It suits the MG MG3 1.5L 15S4U FWD built between 2018 and 2024 and the MG5 1.5L 15S4U FWD built from 2023 onwards, addressing charging faults such as a weak battery, dim lighting or a failing stator or rotor.
Basco Alternator BAL1748 is built with a balanced armature and heavy-duty solenoid for consistent, dependable operation, and delivers maximum cranking torque for strong starting performance. Improved dust and water resistance adds durability in demanding engine bay conditions, while the 50.3mm pulley diameter and OEM-matching design allow straightforward installation.
