The Alpine S2-S65C 6.5" Component Speaker w/1" Tweeter (240W) is engineered to bring studio-level, Hi-Res Audio certified sound to a wide range of vehicles. It forms part of Alpine's next-generation S-Series line-up, built for drivers wanting clearer, more detailed sound than factory speakers deliver. The 6.5 inch door woofer uses a glass fibre composite cone paired with Alpine's High-Amplitude Multi-Roll (H.A.M.R.) surround, giving the cone controlled excursion for punchy, distortion-free bass even at higher volumes.
The separate 1 inch soft dome tweeter extends frequency response up to 40kHz, reproducing fine vocal and instrument detail, and can be flush mounted or swivelled to find the best sound stage for the vehicle. A large strontium ferrite magnet and 35mm voice coil give the woofer strong power handling, rated at 80W RMS and 240W peak, through a 4 ohm impedance and 88dB/W sensitivity. The system's 57.7mm mounting depth and 129mm cutout diameter suit a wide range of door and factory speaker locations.
