The Alpine Amplifier 4 Channel S2-A36F is a Hi-Res Audio certified car amplifier delivering 60W RMS per channel at 4 ohms. At 2 ohms it steps up to 90W RMS per channel, and its Class-D design reproduces a frequency response up to 40kHz for clear, detailed sound to front and rear speakers. For a 3-channel 2-way system, the rear channels can be bridged to deliver up to 180W RMS to a subwoofer.
A variable mid-bass EQ on the rear channels lets you dial in extra low-frequency punch, while high and low-pass filters control the frequency range reaching each speaker and subwoofer. The optional RUX-KNOB2 wired remote adjusts rear channel levels from the driver's seat.
The amplifier accepts both preamp and speaker-level inputs, making it compatible with factory or aftermarket head units, and automatic turn-on detection removes the need for a separate turn-on wire.
