The Zoo Performance GTX55 98mm 2500HP Turbo ZOO-GTX5533R-98-1.24-T6 is a triple ball bearing turbocharger rated 1000 to 2500HP across 3.0 to 12.0 litre engine displacements. It features a 13-blade point milled billet aluminium compressor wheel with an aerodynamic tapered tip, temperature rated to 200°C, housed in an aluminium compressor housing fitted with a sensor port and an anti-surge ported-shroud compressor inlet for increased surge resistance. This 98mm configuration pairs a 112mm turbine inducer and 102mm turbine exducer with a 1.24 A/R T6 inlet cast iron turbine housing.
The turbine wheel is manufactured from Inconel, maintaining strength at operating temperatures up to 900°C, while the triple ceramic ball bearing design improves turbo response and prolongs turbo lifespan. The turbocharger is supplied complete with stainless steel polished V-band clamps, flanges, water fittings, a turbo drain gasket and an NPT 1/4 inch to -4AN turbo oil feed fitting with a 1.6mm restrictor hole.
