The Zoo Performance GTX55 88mm Turbo 1.24 A/R V-Band ZOO-GTX5533R-88-1.24 is a performance turbocharger built for high output petrol engines from 3.0 to 12.0 litre displacement. A triple ceramic ball bearing design sharpens turbo response and extends service life, while the 13-blade point milled billet aluminium compressor wheel is temperature rated to 200°C and sits inside an anti-surge ported-shroud compressor cover for improved surge resistance and continuous power delivery. The compressor side features an 88mm inducer wheel, 133mm exducer wheel and 0.88 A/R housing, with a 6 inch hose inlet and 4 inch hose outlet.
On the hot side, the turbine wheel is manufactured from Inconel super alloy to maintain strength at operating temperatures up to 900°C, housed in a high grade cast iron turbine housing with a 112mm inducer wheel, 102mm exducer wheel and 1.24 A/R V-Band inlet feeding a 4.5 inch hose outlet. The turbo is supplied complete with stainless steel polished V-band clamps, flanges, water fittings, a turbo drain gasket and an NPT 1/4 inch to -4AN turbo oil feed fitting with a 1.6mm restrictor hole, plus a built-in speed sensor port for boost monitoring.
