The Zoo Performance 2" Quick Release Intercooler Clamp Gold ZOO-1771-200G is a billet boost clamp built to join and seal 51mm (2 inch) intercooler and charge piping on turbocharged performance vehicles. CNC machined from 6061 aircraft grade billet aluminium and finished in a hard anodised gold coating for corrosion resistance, it uses a quick release pin mechanism in place of traditional bolts, letting the clamp be fitted or removed by hand in tight engine bay locations.
Intercooler clamp duty means handling constant heat cycling and boost pressure, and this clamp is rated to a maximum operating pressure of 500 PSI and heat up to 200°C, while tolerating engine flexing, vibration and up to 12 degrees of axial misalignment without leaking. Each kit supplies the clamp body, two weld ferrules, an internal sleeve and two Viton O-rings for the seal, giving a complete joint in one package.
