The XTM Tow Hitch with Shackle provides a secure recovery attachment that replaces your standard tow bar, giving you a reliable point to anchor snatch straps during vehicle recoveries. The included drop-forged, heat-treated shackle is rated to 4.7 tonne working load and engineered for the forces of soft terrain recovery missions.
The shackle mounts via a locking pin system that secures directly in place of the tow bar, keeping it firmly locked during use. Constructed from C45 carbon steel with a 40CrV galvanised steel pin, the assembly is hot galvanised and black powder coated for corrosion resistance in harsh conditions. The design accommodates most standard snatch straps and is purpose-built to handle the demands of 4WD recovery work.
