The UNIMIG Welding Tip Size 8, UFWT8 is a copper oxy-acetylene welding tip designed for welding ferrous metals with a 1-2mm material thickness. Its swaged construction fits standard oxy-acetylene torch handles and the high-quality copper build gives enhanced heat dissipation for stable flame control. This heat dissipation leads to superior performance and a longer tip life compared to lower grade tips.
The UNIMIG acetylene swaged tip range includes sizes from 8 through to 20, each matched to a different material thickness, with the size 8 tip suited to thinner ferrous metal sections.
