The UNIMIG Zirconiated Tungsten Electrodes 3.2mm 10 Pack PTR0006-32 is designed for AC TIG welding, delivering a stable ARC for aluminium and other AC applications. Classified as EWZr-1 under AWS standards, these tungsten electrodes contain a minimum of 99.10% tungsten and 0.15–0.40% zirconium, giving them a current-carrying capacity equal to or greater than thoriated tungsten.
Zirconiated tungsten retains a balled tip and resists tungsten spitting, making it well suited to AC welding where contamination resistance and ARC stability matter. This tungsten electrode is not recommended for DC welding and is supplied as a 10 pack of 3.2mm electrodes for TIG welders.
