The UNIMIG Fume Extractor, KSZ3.0D is a mobile, dual-arm, 415-volt fume extraction unit designed to purify fumes and dust generated by welding and grinding. It filters an area of up to 20 square metres and is fitted with a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) that allows customisation of the operation time and duration. The PLC works together with a pressure differentiation switch to display a red warning light when the filter needs cleaning or replacing, and the unit's high quality sheet metal body sits on four heavy duty lockable caster wheels for easy manoeuvring around the workshop.
This welding smoke extractor features a suction arm that rotates 360 degrees, so the hood can be pulled by its handle to the desired work area without repositioning the whole unit. The KSZ3.0D is also self-cleaning, using automatic reverse blowing to keep the filter clear, and its filters have been independently tested to ISO:EN779:2012, removing greater than 99.8% of nanoparticles (PM1 particulate matter) to a standard high enough to meet indoor emission standards.
