The UNIMIG HyperARC 316L Stainless Steel Electrodes 3.2mm 2kg, U63024 welds 316 and 316L stainless steels along with other 300 series grades. Excellent ARC stability produces a concentrated, easy to control ARC with high penetration and less spatter, reducing clean up after each weld, and the electrode is also suitable to weld 301, 302, 303, 304 and 304L stainless steels.
HyperARC 316L meets the AS/NZS 4854 ES316L-16 and AWS/ASME SFA5.4 E316L-16 classifications, and its low carbon formulation minimises carbide precipitation for high resistance to intergranular corrosion. This makes the 2kg pack well suited to fabrication and repair work in corrosive environments, including marine and chemical applications.
