The UNIMIG HyperARC 316L Stainless Steel Electrodes 2.6mm 1kg U63021 is a stick welding electrode designed for joining 316 and 316L stainless steels. It also suits other 300 series grades including 301, 302, 303, 304 and 304L, making it a versatile choice for general stainless fabrication and repair work. A low carbon formulation minimises carbide precipitation, helping maintain resistance to intergranular corrosion in the weld area.
HyperARC 316L electrodes are formulated for excellent ARC stability and a concentrated ARC, giving consistent bead placement across a range of stainless fabrication tasks. High penetration and reduced spatter cut down on post-weld clean up, while the electrode meets AS/NZS 4854: ES316L-16 and AWS/ASME SFA5.4: E316L-16 classifications. Supplied in a 2.6mm diameter, 1kg handy pack.
