The UNIMIG HyperARC 312L Stainless Steel Electrodes 2.6mm 2kg, U63019 is a stainless steel MMA electrode designed for welding dissimilar or unknown-composition steels. It joins stainless steel to carbon and low-alloy steel, making it suited to fabrication and repair work where the base metal composition can't be confirmed.
HyperARC 312L electrodes deliver excellent ARC stability and a concentrated ARC, producing high penetration with less spatter for cleaner, more consistent welds. Beyond joining dissimilar metals, this electrode is also used for buffering layers prior to hard facing and for general repairs and maintenance welding, supplied in a 2.6mm diameter, 2kg pack.
