The UNIMIG ER70S-6 TIG Filler Rod 1.6mm 5kg TG2ER70S-6-1.6 is an unalloyed mild steel TIG welding rod for general structural steel and pipe steel fabrication. This TIG filler wire must be welded using pure Argon (Ar) shielding gas, and a thin, uniform copper coating increases the rod's resistance to rusting in storage and on the workshop bench.
UNIMIG's HyperTIG ER70S-6 rod is double copper-coated, with added manganese and silicon that help combat weld oxidation, particularly on steels showing mill scale or surface rust. The result is a consistent welding output with a smooth ARC, giving fabricators a refined weld finish across mild and low to medium tensile strength steels.
