The UNIMIG ER70S-2 TIG Filler Rod 1.6mm 5kg, TG102ER70S-2-1.6 is a micro-alloyed TIG filler rod for GTAW welding of unalloyed steels with argon shielding gas. Its titanium and aluminium micro-alloy content makes it particularly suitable for single-pass welding of galvanised, pre-painted, rusty and dirty steels, as well as welding low alloy steels in pipelines, boilers and tank construction.
This TIG filler rod also suits welding thin metal plates and repair welds. The copper-coated mild steel construction is ideal for fabrication, sheet metal work and pipe welding, and is supplied in a 1.6mm diameter, 5kg pack.
