The UNIMIG 316L TIG Filler Rod 2.4mm 5kg is a low carbon stainless steel TIG filler wire for joining 316 and 316L stainless steel alloys. It also suits other 300 grade stainless steels such as 302 and 304, and can be used for gas (oxy/acetylene) welding as well as TIG. The rod meets AWS/ASME SFA 5.9 ER316L, DIN 8556 WSG-2 CrNiMo1912 and EN 1272 W19123L classifications, with approvals from TUV Nord, DB and CWB.
Supplied as a 2.4mm diameter rod in a 5kg tube, this UNIMIG filler wire suits fabricators and welders working on stainless fabrication, food-grade equipment and marine components where 316 grade corrosion resistance is required.
